A Study On The Relationship Between Social Support, Aria And Self - Harmony In Female Drug Addicts

In recent years, the fight against drug has been strengthened by our country. The enforced isolation rehabs are established to educate drug addicts. For the high correlation between psychological health condition and the quitting of drug, it is particularly important to concern their mental health. In the past, 16 PF and EPQ were used to measure the mental health. However, personality traits are difficult to change.Therefore, this study used self consistency and congruence to describe the status of mental health. Besides, the study made a further exploration by using social support and alexithymia as a focal point in order to improve their self consistency and congruence and reduce the relapse rate. This study used SCCS, SSRS and TAS-20 to investigate 305 females from a female forced isolation rehab of Shanghai and 209 ordinary social females. the data is analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, multiple regression analysis, hierarchical regression analysis and the mediation effect test. The results show that:(1)It is not significantly different between female drug abstainers and social female in self-doubt and self-denial. However, it is significantly different in isolate, stubborn and other factors.(2)Without the influence of social support and alexithymia, whether drug or not and the level of education have high correlation with self consistency and congruence.Concerning the influence of social support and alexithymia, whether drug or not, age,the level of education and other factors have no correlation with self consistency and congruence.(3)Social support and alexithymia can predict self consistency and congruence while alexithymia can predict more.(4)Alexithymia plays partial intermediary effect between social support and self consistency and congruence.
