The drug problem has been a serious social problem for a long time.Among them, the group behavior characteristics of drug addicts, including the difficulty in consolidating the effect of drug withdrawal and the high relapse rate, have become the primary problem in drug control.Through literature review, the researchers found that the two psychological variables of self-consistency and congruence and self-control had an impact on the relapse behavior of drug addicts. This thesis adopts the mixed research design of questionnaire survey,in-depth interview and grounded theory.Firstly,it preliminarily explores the relationship between self-consistency and congruence,self-control and relapse behavior of drug addicts through questionnaire survey. And then based on the results,it deepens the research to further explore the influencing factors and mechanism of drug addicts’relapse.Study 1:Objective:To understand the situation of self-consistency and congruence,self-control and relapse of drug addicts through questionnaire survey, investigate the predictive effect of self-consistency and congruence level of drug addicts on relapse, and test the hypothesis that self-control plays a mediating role between self-consistency and congruence and drug relapse risk. Methods:Male drug addicts in two drug rehabilitation centers in Zhengzhou City were investigated, using the method of cluster sampling, with Drug Relapse Risk Scale,Self-Consistency and Congruence Scale,Self-Control Scale and Drug Addicts’Belonging Scale. In this study,400 questionnaires were distributed and 374 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 94%.Results:(1)Self-consistency and congruence,self-control and drug relapse risk were significantly correlated with each other(P_s<0.05).And the self-consistency and congruence can directly and negatively predicted drug relapse risk(β=0.49,P<0.001).(2)Self-control plays a partial mediating role between self-consistency and congruence and drug relapse risk. The mediating effect value is0.20,accounting for 41.22%of the total effect of 0.49.Study 2:Objective:To verify the results of Study 1 and further explore the influencing factors and mechanism of drug addicts’relapse. Methods:Using the method of in-depth interview, seven drug addicts with relapse experience and one drug rehabilitation worker were interviewed. The total recording time was 9.8 hours and the written material was about 110000 words.According to the method of procedural grounded theory, the data are encoded at three levels, and the theory is constructed from bottom to top.Firstly,169 primary coding nodes are obtained, involving 530 meaning units.Secondly,18 secondary coding nodes are established after generic analysis.Finally,6 tertiary coding nodes are formed by category analysis and scenario analysis.Results:(1)The self-consistency and congruence can directly affect drug relapse risk, and it can also indirectly affect relapse risk through self-control strategies.(2)The relapse process of drug addicts includes four stages:start-up period, evaluation period, preparation period and action period.Different stages have different influencing factors on relapse.(3)Drug addicts will assess the consequences of relapse in the"evaluation period".When the loss is considered to be greater than the benefit brought by meeting the demand of"motivation factors",the possibility of relapse is less. While the possibility of relapse is more when the benefit is greater than the loss.(4)"Risky environment"and"personal psychological characteristics"will strengthen the factors in many stages of the relapse process.(5)There are two ways of behavior in the"preparation period"stage:"self-control"and"behavior rationalization".Drug addicts will relapse if they fail to control their behavior or adopt rationalization strategies.Conclusions:(1)Self-consistency and congruence can significantly negatively predict relapse risk, and self-control plays a mediating role in this process.(2)The six influencing factor groups on relapse risk,"Motivation factors""loss factors""risky environment""cognitive bias""personal psychological characteristics"and"dealing strategies",interact with each other, forming a dynamic theoretical model.
