In recent years, schema theory in the field of language research many have achieved acertain degree of development, but in the Chinese vocabulary teaching research isextremely scarce. This paper attempts to apply schema theory to the Chinese vocabularyteaching, therefore, this article is based on schema theory research to the Chinesevocabulary teaching principles and strategies, and connecting with the south Koreanstudents Chinese vocabulary teaching and acquisition of the status, on Chinese vocabularyteaching design, on the basis of teaching experiment was carried out, according to thevocabulary test results analysis and interviews with the results of the survey concluded thatvocabulary teaching based on schema theory help Korean students learning Chinese words.This thesis mainly is divided into six parts:The first chapter is introduction, introduces the reason and significance of the selectedtopic, research status of schema theory in second language teaching, the study of schematheory in English teaching, in teaching Chinese as a foreign language study and thelimitations of forefathers’ research, and the purpose of this study and research methods.The second chapter for the schema theory and Chinese vocabulary teaching part,comprehensively expounds the meaning of schema theory, and the feasibility of theapplication in the Chinese teaching of graphic theory is analyzed.The third chapter is summary of Chinese vocabulary teaching status of domestic andSouth Korea.The fourth chapter for the schema theory under the guidance of the experimental studyof Korean Chinese vocabulary teaching. From South Korea, schema theory to Chinesevocabulary teaching principles and teaching strategies are discussed, and under theguidance of schema theory lesson for experimental cases, has carried on the vocabularyteaching design.The fifth chapter, this paper compares and analyzes the result of the vocabulary test andthe experiment through interviews are summarized and evaluated.The sixth chapter is the conclusion part. Summary for the schema theory in theredeeming feature of Korean Chinese vocabulary teaching, and puts forward the research of the limitations of this thesis.
