"G minor Piano Concerto" is the pioneer of "E minor Piano Concerto", one of the world’s ten famous violin concertos, though it is a slightly immature composition. This paper summarizes the predecessors’ studies and found some features of the concerto, such as intermittent performance in three movements, inseparable link between the themes of each movement, the canceled double exposition and cadanza which join a band, etc. In addition, the author found the high proportion and obvious advantage for diminished seventh chord of this composition, it not only plays an important role in increasing harmonic color and enrich emotion, and become the important means of modulation and free tonality for composer. In the aspect of musical performance, the author found that some modulations of the composition provides a new way of interpretation for performance thinking track.
