The main object of this study is in northern of China during the Qin Dynasty unearthed bronze socketed weapons. Socketed wapon is a typical repesentative of China’s northern department of bronze, more cateories, has always been the concern of scholars. But most studies have focused on a certain type of weapon, or seeing socketed as the second taxonomy study,the lack of overall research about socketed weapons. Based on previous studies, the pepar will have a sysmatic comprehensive study on Preqin period bronze socketed weapons unearthed in northern China. The paper is divided into six parts.Part one, introduction. First is the history and present situation of the previous studies were brief summary.Second, declaring the object, space time, purpose and methods of study.Part two, the analysis about types of socketed weapon. Mainly system type division and introduction about bronze socketed weapon found in northern area. Including ge, axe, hezuifu, knife, sword, arrow, tomahawk and shu.Part three, socketed weapons staging and ages. According to characteristic of socketed weapons divide into five phases: Xia dynasty to early Shang Dynasty, Shang Dynasty interim and later period, Zhou Dynasty early to middle period, Zhou Dynasty later to Spring and Autumn early period, Spring and Autumn to Warring States later Period.Part four, distribution about socketed weapon. According to characteristics of socketed weapon each stage, and then research on partitions.Part five, on the basis of above research, this paper will discuss socketed arrow in origin, evolving about socketed weapon, as well as influencing factors about distribution of socketed weapon.Part six, conclusion.This part is the view of the article summarized and concluded.
