Research On The Application Of Contemporary Soundtrack And Digital Tools

Nowadays, digital technology could be found everywhere in our lives. With the continuous development and improvement of the technology of digital information, many fields’ producing and running rely more and more on the digital information. Meanwhile, the digization has started to change our habits in lives and the ways in works. It’s the same in art field. For instance, almost every contemporary film soundtrack composers cannot work without digital programs. Therefore, this thesis focuses on studying and analyzing two points. The first is the influences of digital music programs to the contemporary film styles. The second is the applications of digital music programs in film soundtrack composing. And this thesis summarizes the options, the methods of applications and the design philosophies of digital music programs for film soundtrack composing. I hope this thesis could provide some helpful suggestions for film soundtrack composers and learners.
