| Faur was a French musician who advocated and influenced French national music from the second half of the nineteenth century to early twenty century. The piano impromptus he wrote was exquisite and delicate, which are well worth reaserching and playing. This thesis study on two of his total six impromptus, Op. 25 and Op. 102. Based on music characteristics and performance techniques, this thesis gives detalied analysis and study on melody form, multi-voice effect, technological type and voice requirement of these two works. |
