At present, the automation of the China's farmland Motor-pumped wells irrigation terminal is lower, commonly by the ways of home fees, manual switching, artificial metering and billing. There are many difficulties in charge for water, operating high-risk, labor-intensive field, the lower of measurement accuracy, flood irrigation and serious waste. Therefore, the designing and developing of the control system for water-saving irrigation based on the RF IC card to solve the shortage of agricultural water resources and realize the sustainable exploitation of water resources has the extremely vital significance.In this paper, the control system for water-saving irrigation uses the RF IC card as an information media. The pump is opened, closed, the mount of water is metered, displayed dynamically with the automatic control technology of the MCU. By the management technology of computer the purchasing, inquiring and measurement of water are completed.In a word, the system combines the funtion of the control with the management to achieve water-saving irrigation. The System is composed by the controller, the management unit and RF IC card mainly. By means of the management unit, the pre-paid and the mount of water are stored in the card. Meanwhile,the pumping is launches by swiping card, then the metering and billing of water start. If swiping your card again or the money runs out, the pump shuts off automatically and then terminates pumping. The system has the advantages of simple, flexible, reliable and powerful operation. It is very suitable for agricultural irrigation wells automatically.The controller circuit takes advantage of the pulse water meter and LCD displaying so that the higher water metering accuracy, the better man-machine interface and the lower water loss come true. Compared with the previous designs, the system with feedback information processing capability, the last water information is sent back to the database when purchasing water the next time. So charging, maintenance and management of the machine using more than one card can be realized. Promoting the system can improve the level of production and management for farmland motor-pumped well, enhance the farmers'awareness of water conservation, reduce the exploitation and waste of water resources disorderly, achieve sustainable development and utilize water resources.
