With the rapid development of local wireless networks, the use of local wireless network become increasingly popular in people's daily lives. Large-scale local wireless network of centralized WLAN(Wireless Local Area Networks) architecture has become an inevitable trend. However, due to the specificity of centralized control and centralized management of Centralized WLAN architecture, the reliability of local wireless networks is relatively low. Low reliability has become a bottlenet of the further development of the wireless network of Centralized WLAN architecture. This thesis comes from the project of enterprise-class high reliability wired and wireless integrated network solutions in a network tecnology company, with an in-depth study of the CAPWAP(Control And Provisioning of Wireless Access Points) and VRRP(Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol), hot backup module which manage and control wireless access points base on the CAPWAP, synchronize and bakup info base on VRRP, backup wireless data through HANSI(High-Available Network Access Service Instance). The N+1 backup base on Centralized WLAN means that creating several HANSIs in one device and evry HANSI can work independent.HANSIs in backup device can backup data for HANSIs in other devices and they can take over the work quickly while one or more HANSIs in master down. Then the N+1 backup can realize high reliability of large-scale local wireless network of centralized WLAN architecture. The N+1 redundant Backup in this project has been successfully passed the test, and has received good test results and economic benefits in several projects.
