The state promulgated the relatedpolicy and the laws and regulations, ensure that the quantity of cultivated land is notreduced, quality has improved, hold one billion eight hundred million acres of arable landred line, designated basic farmland, therefore the protection of basic farmland is of greatand far-reaching significance.In the new era of the rapid development of information technology, the originalmanual management drawing mode has become increasingly unable to meet the need ofefficient land management, along with the improvement and perfection of continuoustechnical and computer management information system technology, a new informationmanagement mode has been gradually accepted by the people.This paper first reviews the development of always land management information system,expounds the purpose, significance and content of this study; secondly, this papersummarizes two development of core technology in the system development process--component technology and GIS; once again to establish management information systemof county basic farmland as the goal, to meet the management department inquiries thebasic farmland, statistics, analysis and supervision requirements, the overall design of thesystem, and describes the design goal and principle of system, especially the detaileddesign of the database, to construct7major function module of the informationmanagement system of basic farmland, realize the scientific and effective management ofthe basic farmland data; combined with the basic idea of software design and, this paperstudies and implements the function of the system are given in this paper, the mainfunctions of related code fragments. Basic farmland management itself is not a fixedpattern. Due to the actual situation of each district is different management content and method is different, as the conditions of time changing, management task will be different.Therefore, the establishment of basic farmland management information system is aprocess of constantly improve and improve, the function of the system should also with theimprovement of the management theory and methods and corresponding modification andsupplement.
