To make sure the consumption of steel resources grows continuely together with therapid developments of industrial civilization and economic power, we need to improvegeological explorations of iron ore resources. Due to the situations that the shallow surfacemines and mineral resources drain eventually, deeper mineral exploration has already becomean important research field. This paper is based on previous geological and geophysical works.Using the existinggravity and magnetic data, dtilling data, geophysical data, and the basic geological andmineral exploration results,we give here the qualitative and quantitative explaination of thegeophysical anomaly characteristics. Using RGIS software,2.5D magnetic data of the typicalsections is inversed, and the3D inversion of the spatial distribution of the resources of ore isobtained, which could be used as references for the future iron ore explosition. This paper relies on the project of 《Experimental research of gravitational and magneticmethod in the exploration of Shanxi iron ore and bauxite》. A iron ore test field in Fanshi xianShanxi province is studied here. We extract, process, transform, inverse and interpretate of thegravitational and magnetic data of the sedimentary metamorphic type of the iron ore, andobtained an effective processing method. To make surethe consumption of steel resources grows continuely together with therapid developments of industrial civilization and economic power, we need to improvegeological explorations of iron ore resources. Due to the situations that the shallow surfacemines and mineral resources drain eventually, deeper mineral exploration has already becomean important research field..
