Deformation measurement technology is uninterrupted, long-term repeatability ofmeasurement strain to the deformations of deformed body to ensure the safety and reliabilityof the engineering project. With the development of science and technology, GPSmeasurement technology in the deformation measurement is more widely, slowly replacingthe traditional electronic measurement technology and optical measurement technology, notonly improving the work efficiency, but also bring more economic benefits. Combined withthe acquisition of GPS measurement technique and the data acquisition, processing andanalyzing the deformation is of great importance to the safety of the project, so to improvethe breadth and depth of GPS measurement technology in the deformation measurement, GPSdata processing is an important aspect. At the same time on the deformation data analysis andprediction, for deformation measurement work has a long-term significance.This article introduced the principle of GPS measurement firstly, has summarizes thedata acquisition and processing in the application of GPS deformation measurement and hasgiven two kinds of GPS deformation measurement processing: wavelet de-noising and three-time exponential smoothing. And through the elaboration of theory, it summarizes the threestage of the GPS data processing in which it uses two methods: the of phase GPS datapreprocessing, stages of the GPS deformation data processing, phase of GPS data analysis anddeformation prediction, and it carries on the analysis the results of the application in theengineering.
