GNSS receiver antenna phase center error is due to the difference of electric center andgeometric center of antenna, phase center error of different types of antenna is different, andthe error change over altitude angle and azimuth angle, so it is difficult to eliminate ordiminish by difference method, and we can only establish a model to correct it. With thedevelopment of GNSS, its location accuracy has been improved, its application scope hasbeen expanded. The antenna phase center error became an important factor that limit accuracy.BDS of China is developing rapidly, in domestic, research of BDS receiver antenna phasecenter error mainly concentrated in the indoor calibration, while relevant report of outdoorcalibration research is very few, and there is not a precision phase center error correctionmodel for any type of Receiver antenna. Based on this, this paper from the related theory andcorrection method of antenna phase center error, the influence on the receiver antenna phasecenter error and correction method is analyzed and researched initially, The main researchcontent is as follows:GNSS receiver antenna phase center error is an error must be considered in high precisepositioning, Based on the analysis of the reasons and characteristics of antenna phase centererror, authors of this paper processed the monitoring station data, and influence of antennaphase center error on precise point positioning and baseline solution were studied.Relative antenna calibration experiment was carried out on short baseline in the outdoor,we need only two GNSS receiver, and the experimental operation is simple, the correctionresults is helpful to improving the positioning accuracy, it can also be used as an reference ofabsolute calibration results. In this paper, field relative antenna calibration was carried out byGNSS receiver, and then we processed data and get PCO reference value for BDS signal B1and GPS signal L1.Absolute antenna calibration with a robot is the best method for antenna calibrationcurrently, this paper analyzed the theory and method of field absolute calibration with a robot,related mathematical model was established, data processing method was studied, on thisbasis, measured data was processed and fitted to PCO and PCV estimated value for testantenna.
