In GPS measurement, the existence of cycle slip directly affects the ambiguity resolutionand the ultimately positioning accuracy. Detecting and repairing of cycle slip has become oneof the most important parts of GPS phase data processing. After years of efforts, researchershave put forward a lot of methods to detect and repair cycle slip, but it is still difficult to finda way for cycle slip detecting which can meet the general conditions.In GPS phase data processing, for more than10weeks of cycle slip, it is not hard todetect and repair through the existing detecting methods. However, for less than10weeks ofcycle slip, especially1-5weeks, half a week and1/4weeks of cycle slip, general methods aredifficult to detect.In this paper, firstly, we introduced the principles and error sources of GPS positioningtechnology briefly, and then, we expounded the causes of cycle slip and its characteristicssystematically and put forward some general construction methods of amount of inspection ofcycle slip detection. This paper mainly analyzed the theoretical model, detecting ability,detecting effect and scope of application of several important detecting methods. We wroterelated C data analysis programs according to different detecting methods, and has carried onthe analysis of a large number of GPS measurement examples and simulated data to comparedetecting characteristics of different methods, summed up a more suitable synthetic methodfor the general problem of cycle slip detection, and through the GPS data and simulation datato verified the feasibility and reliability of this cycle slip detecting method.Main research content of this article is as follows:(1) Write C language programs to realize the data processing of high order differencemethod, Melbourne-Wübbena and geometry-free method.(2) Use the program of cycle slip detecting by adding simulation cycle slip (mainlywithin10weeks of cycle slip), analyzed the GPS simulated processing on the basis ofthe testing data, discussed the detecting effect and the characteristics of thesemethods.(3) According to the advantages of two kinds of detecting methods, we set up a combinedanalysis method of the M-W and GF method, analyzed the characteristics of this kind of combined detecting method,which proved that the comnined method has an idealdetecting effect of general cycle slip detecting problems.(4) According to the research in this paper, we summarized an idea and a process ingeneral cycle slip detecting and repairing.
