Most of accidents in marine engineering area are induced by human error. Thephysical factor of working environment can reduce the human performance and leadhuman error. As the marine environment is very complex, the floating marineplatform will have complex motions and reduce the stability and perception of crews, thus reduce the work performance of crews. In this thesis, crew performanceinfluenced by the motions of marine platforms is studied.Using the rigid model, the stability of human on marine platform is studied.Based on transient analysis, the stability region of MII is proposed. Based on dynamicanalysis, the stability regions about amplitude-frequency, acceleration amplitude-inspiring period are proposed. These stability regions can be used as the datareference in safety management.Applying the nonlinear dynamic equations, the characteristic of nonlinearresponses is analyzed. The periodic response, quasi-periodic response, chaoticresponse, and overturning response are studied. The effects of parameters onproperties of the responses and amplitude of responses are analyzed. The human is modeled in Adams to stimulate the motions of standing human onmoving marine platform. The data in simulation agree well with that in calculation.Applying GUI, a program is developed to measure the reaction time of human onmoving marine platform. How the amplitude and frequency of vibration affecthuman’s perception is studied. And the difference of horizontal vibration and verticalvibration is analyzed.
