Coal mining would cause surface subsidence and other geological disasters that damaged human survival and development of the natural environment to some extent. The land subsidence monitoring issues need to be solved well in the whole working process. That requires a new measurement technique to compensate since traditional measurement techniques cant meet the current requirements of the mine ground subsidence monitoring. There are many characteristics of DInSAR technology as a new earth observation technology, such as getting ground deformation information all-time and all-weather, achieving millimeter accuracy, the ability to continuous coverage of the space spatial coverage and the lower monitoring cost, which can totally fulfills people’s needs and complete dynamic monitoring.Depending on the DORIS software platform, This project takes Huainan mining area as the study area, uses the two-track method (2-pass) for image maps for data processing, whlie capitalizing on the existing54views ENVISAT satellite SAR imagery. According to the principle of DInSAR, the data were selected on the basis of time and space, then we organize38pairs of interference and get38coherence figure through data preprocessing. Screening38coherence figure, we choose the11pairs of high-coherence interferometry for futher processing. The settlement results of Huainan mining area, which are consistent with actual condition, show that the scope and settlement along with the continued existence of Huainan coal mining activities have increased in varying degrees via futher processing by ERDAS software and analysis by ArcGIS software.
