Xinzhan Oilfield located in the central depression area of Songliao basin, it belongs tolow porosity and low permeability fractured sandstone reservoir. Da404well block located atthe central axis of Xinzhan nose-like structure, the main exploration and production targetstratum is Putaohua oil layers of the upper cretaceous Yaojia formation. It is the delta frontdeposition and forms microfacies types such as underwater distributary channel sand, sheetsand, sandbank of delta outer front subfacies. Putaohua oil layers are lack of formation waterbut rich in remaining oil. It has low reservoir permeability, low porosity and low production.In order to improve the overall development effect of the block, it is necessary to implementthe logging interpretation of water-out reservoirs, further study reservoir physical propertiesand establish water flooded layer interpretation model. This work could provide the basis tothe well block encryption and injection-production system adjustment。In this paper, Putaohua oil layer of Xinzhan Oilfield is classified into4classes throughthe flow zone index FZI, which partly solves the impact on logging explain caused by thereservoir strong heterogeneity. On the basis of the reservoir classification, the mechanismstudy of watered through was carried out. The change rules of resistivity and rock physicalparameters in the process of water through were systematically analyzed to establishqualitative identification methods and quantitative analysis charts of water flooded layer. Theinterpretation coincidence rate is above83.3%. Besides, the establishment of reservoirparameters calculation methods lays the groundwork for a more accurate explanation, itmakes sense for the perforation in water flooded layer and is significant to improving oilrecovery.
