Stepping into middle-later stage of development, Gaotaizi reservoir of HongGang oilfield faces the difficulty of rapidly rising water,significantly declining water and the stableproduction capacity becoming poor year by year.Howerver,the resource usage degree ofGaotaizi reservoir of HongGang oil field is low,in which33small layers have not beendeveloped completely.This part of layers present the complexity of oil and water distributionand the indistinctly cognition of resource potential.In order to increase the development levelof Gaotaizi reservoir of oil field,it is emergent to study of the growth of sand body oflayers,sturctual feature and oil and gas distribution law comprehensively so as to recognizethe resource distribution and search the alternative potential.By analyzing the regional geological data, three-dimensional earthquake datas,well logand oil-water well dynamic data and adopting the means of the multi-petroleum geology anddevelopment geology. The research was divided into the following steps First, the first stepwas to make detailed classification and correlation of small layer sand body and the study ofreservoir space distribution,and physical properties,lithology changes.At the same time, the analysis of all previous situation was madeto explore the oil andgas water distribution rule and gas migration.40small layer of ge ological reserves andunused reserves was determined by the double calculation reserves, geological reserves anduse of geological reserves so as to find out the potential larger interval to make furtherresearch. By making comprehensive analysis of various kinds of data, the characteristics ofunused resources distribution has been recognized and the remaining oil has been foundout and the exploration direction has been determined. The layers of oil and waterdistribution of Gaotaizi is given priority to the construction control.The beneficial tappingdirections included such area as the enriched area developed by fault block,the enriched areadeveloping forward micro-structure, the oil enriched area after the interface of oil and gasup. The analysis has proposed that there are still large amounts of unused resources inGaotaizi in which942000tons of geological reserves has great potential to be developedpreferentially. Through the research, it can provide support for Gaotaizitaping potentials andprovide guarantee for high continuously production of oilfield.
