Wet spinning is a spinning process united with macromolecular chain by using pressure-declining-water vapor in the labyrinth cavity, which has uniform plasticity stretching. Despite its technical requirements higher, technological process strict and equipment structure complex, but its products have no hair silk, gloss surface, high strength and well orientation degree. Thus the wet spinning could make high quality silk and this method has applied to spinning industry. During the whole spinning process, the water vapor environment (pressure, temperature, speed, etc.) are the main factors that influence the quality of the silk, these factors depend on the internal structure of labyrinth cavity, so the research on different structure maze of decompression cavity flow field simulation has important guiding significance in engineering application.This paper has carried on the simulation to saturated steam flow field in different structure of decompression stepped labyrinth cavity to improve a company’s spinning technology based on the principle of spinning. The mainly following work:firstly, on the basis of relevant theories and design manuals, the set parameters and the physical parameters of the labyrinth cavity is calculated. Secondly, the simulation and study to a turated steam flow field in different structure is simulated by the method of computational fluid dynamics. And a labyrinth structure and related parameters which has the best decompression effect is confirmed according to the simulation results. Thirdly, according to the results of simulation, the experiment is designed and studied. Fourthly, the results between simulation and experiment are compared.The result on the simulation and experiment about the flow field in different structure of decompression labyrinth cavity has supply a reference value to optimize the decompression labyrinth structure and improve wet spinning technology.
