The phenomenon of two-phase flow widely exists in nature and the productionprocess, the two-phase flow of gas-liquid is very important part and common in theindustrial processes, due to it’s the limit of flow state complexity, accuratemeasurement of the flow process parameters have been a challenge task to be solvedurgently.The paper mainly researches the multi-sensor measuring gas-water of two-phaseflow process parameters (flow rate and phase fraction) system, which combines longwaist cone differential pressure sensor and conductance ring sensor. Thecomputational fluid dynamics and multi-physics field coupling analysis method areused to simulate the flow field and electric field of measurement system in horizontalpipe (DN50mm), at the same time, hidden module (MHD) which in ComputationalFluid Dynamics software is used to simulate distribution of dynamic coupling fieldbetween flow field and electric field. The numerical simulation mainly research threedimensional distribution of flow field, distribution of double conductance ring electricfield and dynamic coupling field when gas-water two-phase flow gets through thecone. The detail works in this paper are as follows:Firstly, the principle of measurement single the long waist cone is analyzed, andthe model of conductive ring array and dual conductance ring’s measurement gasliquid two phase flow are also explained. Analysis theory on measurement gas-watertwo-phase flow using the sensor which combining two kinds of sensors is presented.Secondly, computational fluid dynamics method is used to simulate threedimensional unsteady flow field in the annular channel, when gas-water two-phaseflow gets through the long waist cone. In the simulation, some important threedimensional parameters of flow field characteristic are analyzed, mainly includingvelocity of gas phase, distribution of gas phase and distribution of mix phase pressure.Then, multi-physics coupling field analysis software ANSYS is used to build thethree-dimensional model of the long waist and conductance rings coupling sensor.The model is simulated to analyze three-dimensional static uniform electric fieldgenerated by conductance ring. The bubble is simulated by "small cylinder" in themodel to calculate distribution of static electric field when the gas phase exists. Finally, MHD module is imported in FLUENT software to add exciting source forconductance ring, this method is mainly used for analysis the dynamic couplingcharacteristics on flow field and the electric field when gas-water two phase flowthrough the long waist cone and conductance ring coupling sensor. Coupled fieldanalysis mainly includes dynamic effect for bubble flow and stratified flow ondistribution of dual conductance ring’s potential.
