High precision magnetic survey method is mature, simple data processing, high efficiency, low cost, so it is widely used in mineral resources prospecting survey. Magnetic exploration is to collect magnetic data as the basis, with data processing, inversion conditions, in order to achieve prospecting and solve the geological problem, so understanding the purpose of high precision magnetic survey is the key of the implementation of the project success.This thesis is in-depth study in China author participated in Geological Survey Geological Survey Center of Xi’an bear "Qinghai Tongren area geological survey project" based on the work of the magnetic method. Based on a comprehensive collection and research achievements in Tongren area and regional data, explain the research area with the ground high precision magnetic survey data, to improve the understanding of the geological, geophysical prospecting areas, the use of ground high precision magnetic survey in Tongren area for geological prospecting to provide direct and indirect prospecting basis.In terms of the magnetic data conversion processing: a major task of interpreting magnetic prospecting is determined by the magnetic anomaly of the magnetic body depth, shape, occurrence, distribution, and combined with the magnetic parameters(size, direction of magnetization) caused by nature judgment of geological body magnetic anomaly, but due to T data is the comprehensive reflection area in different depth, size, intensity of magnetic body superimposed on each other, and the study area is located in mid latitudes, oblique magnetization obviously, the magnetic anomaly correlation with delta T geological body is not intuitive. In order to form and distribution of space position, which is convenient for judging the magnetic geologic body, eliminate the influence of magnetic field of oblique magnetization, magnetic measurement to improve the accuracy of interpretation, the research work of Kriging gridding of delta T data using Surfer software, and then reduced to the pole of grid data using RGIS gravity data processing system, for in the vertical level, processing of the pole on the basis of different height to derivative processing extension, finally draw maps using Map Gis6.7 software editor. These maps reflect all kinds of field information from different angles, enrich the interpretation of content.Magnetic parameters: the parameter determination of 983 magnetic sample values, and on the part of the high magnetic susceptibility were histogram analysis, summed up the magnetic characteristics involving 8 geological units, provides a strong basis for anomaly interpretation.Abnormal explanation: the main advantage of the high precision magnetic anomaly T, and data conversion processing anomalies, combined with geological characteristics of mineral resources, the analysis of cause of abnormal, geometric properties, parameters and magnetic parameters of magnetic geologic body magnetic anomaly, magnetic anomaly on the qualitative and quantitative interpretation.Faults: in the analysis of magnetic characteristics of known faults based on the basis of T, a polar contour map, T pole level derivative map, T pole vertical linear characteristics of a planar graph derivative contour reflect(delta T linear gradient zone, moniliform anomaly zone) were divided off crack structure.Concealed rock: rock boundary with delta T pole vertical first derivative value of 0 magnetic body plan reflects the range line as the basis, and geological data to determine the reference. Because of the high precision magnetic magnetic body reflects has certain depth and gravity shift, the rock mass range delineated geological boundary delineation and geological often do not coincide, pay attention to use, according to the lithology of the high precision magnetic anomaly characteristics of delta T, petrophysical determination results and geological data to distinguish.On the basis of the metallogenic prediction: the high precision magnetic interpretation results, combined with the geological and metallogenic regularity, that region has two kinds of mineral prospects and potential, it is with the Indosinian intrusive rocks in magmatic hydrothermal deposits related; second is produced in the jet flow Triassic depositiontransform type copper deposit. Comprehensive analysis of metallogenic conditions in the study area, and established the prospecting in the study area. Using the known or inferred faults, combined with qualitative and quantitative interpretation, metallogenetic prediction in the study area. I finally delineated prospecting target area 3, class II prospecting target area 1, class III prospecting target area 1, and the metallogenic target area are discussed in detail, provide an important basis for the relevant metal mineral in Tongren area in the future.
