In recent years, there has been a hot wave of deep prospecting in the geologicalexploration industry. Geophysical prospecting has obvious advantages on guidelinesin deep prospecting. We put the Magnetic prospecting guideline, which is based ongeophysical prospecting on the emphasis of this paper to introduce and analyze therole of the deep geophysical prospecting.The work area is located in the southern margin of Qaidam Paraplatform andthe tectonic position is a part of east Kunlun Mountains in Qinghai province which isbelong to Qimantage early Paleozoic rift trough. Paleoproterozoic was the period offorming metamorphic crystalline basement, the Proterozoic was the passivecontinental margin environment, early Paleozoic Cambrian to Ordovician was incontinental splitting environment where developed Marine jet–deposition. It beganto dive in Late Ordovician, from the collision of Devonian in the Qaidam block andmicro continental in early–middle Devonian to the Late Devonianmolasses’ formation and strong continental volcanic eruption represent the end of theearly Paleozoic orogenic cycle. This area was in the tensile environment during theC-period to Permian period, and deposited a set of light-littoral fancies sedimentswhich were made by carbonate as the main body. Because of the subduction ofancient Tethys Ocean’s northward, continental crust’s collision and overlapping orsubduction occurred during Triassic Period. Early Jurassic intrusive rock wasrelatively much weaker than Triassic and more Superimposed. Highpotassium-calcium-alkali granite represented the post-tectonic extend background, aswell as on behalf of the end of the early late Paleozoic-Mesozoic orogenic cycle.Development of thrust structure and horizontal crustal shortening and crust thickeningas the main features, Late Mesozoic-Cenozoic orogeny was a remote effect ofneo-tethys evolution.Field of geophysical exploration work is a rate of1:2thousands to sweep theground with high-precision magnetic survey. We made out eight magnetic anomaliesincluding four inferences of mineralization anomalies. Due to the Quaternarycovered the whole part of the surveying area, the rest of the abnormal is unknown fornature.On the basis of the previous geological work, by delimiting the anomaly scopeof ground magnetic, collecting previous geological data and making ground magnetic survey for the field technical design to collect the field data. After the analysis andprocess of magnetic survey data and combined with Yemaquan region of Qinghaiprovince prospecting experiences to infer the magnetic anomaly caused by themagnetic body of occurrence and its buried depth and scale, establishing anore-prospecting model of geophysical prospecting method within the work area.
