Temple three areas in southern Songliao Basin is oil-gas enrichment region and a dvantageous area of exploration and development, and after years of exploration and d evelopment, it reveals the Fuyang oil layer still have the following geological problem s to research, for example: disunion of stratigraphic classification and correlation, unde rstanding of sedimentary microfacies types of high quality reservoir facies is not clear,main factors to control high and low of capacity, and so on. Although study about t he related research have carried out from 1999, but most of the exploration is macro research. The present geological understanding can’t satisfy the needs of futher evalua tion and development. Therefore, it’s in badly need to do regional stratigraphic divisio n and correlation by using the principle of sequence stratigraphy, to establish isochron ous stratigraphic frame, in order to meet the geological knowledge, to ensure favorable sedimentary facies belt distribution, to carry out the evaluation of deployment,to imp rove the capacity of requirements.In first of all, on base of stratigraphic classification and correlation of Xinmin oil field and Mutou oilfield, to treat temple 7-38 well, temple 11-38 well, temple 15 well as standard well, according to the single phase sequence,16 Fuyang oil layers are div ided into 37 monolayers; in according to lithology, ancient fossils, single sand body m orphology, logging curve, four indicators above, two facies 、three subfacies、 17 mi crofacies and 12 energy unit are identified, starting from standard well, do whole and detailed comparison to 62 wells and 37 time units, for basis of highly fine geologic research. Next, to draw fine planar sedimentary microfacies about 37 time unit of fu yu oil layers, and statistics porosity, permeability and grouped frequency of each time unit,reaching for clear understanding of sandbody distribution belt characteristics, ph ysical characteristics and plane heterogeneity characteristics of each time unit. On the basis of the theory of source control oil system and its integrated analysis technology,it’s thought that study area is “multi-directional multi-channel model”, accumulation model is upside born-downwards transportation-lateral reservoir type. To analysis each 37 time unit, circling 65 traps with reserves, finally predicting 4 kinds 6 favorable z ones.
