In the process of geological survey, geological works often use the geochemical data processing result to study environment problems such asrock composition, geo-tectonic,etc. However, there are many kinds of geochemical data, and every institution stores and manages these data all by themselves, which increases the demand for equipment, and easy to cause the information island. Analyzing and processing geo-chemical data always use petrogeochemistry diagrams, but scattered diagrams data, kinds of classes and lower accuracy brings great inconvenience for geological re-search work. Cloud computing technology, which advantages are huge amounts of data processing, large-scale computing, less equipment investment and simple main-tenance, provides a new work thought.This study is based on cloud computing technology, takes petrogeochemistry di-agram service as the research object. Through analysising domestic and foreign re-search status, this paper puts forward the research of building a service platform about petrogeochemistry diagram based on cloud environment.The platform’s architecture design, according to its service types is divided into virtualization infrastructure layer, platform service layer and application service layer. The construction of virtualization layer provides a hardware environment support. In data management, collecting and arranging a lot of petrogeochemistry diagrams, and confirmed its accuracy and divided its classifications by experts. In cloud diagram service layer, according to the geochemical data processing flow, divided the petro-geochemistry diagram service into based service and calculation service.This study uses MSChart technology to impove diagram drawing precision, de-fines diagram’s data model, and uses XSD technology to define and storage diagram information.Building a service platform about petrogeochemistry diagram based on cloud environment, which may make up the lack of geochemical data sharing. This platform implements data exchanging between users, eliminates the redundancy of data, and reduces the waste of computing and storage resources. The building of this platform has a great signification for geochemical study.
