The landslide, collapse and debris flow caused by slope instability is one of the three major geological disasters, along with Chinese social and economy developing rapidly, the infrastructure construction scale is larger than anytime before, such as the increasingly heavy and complicated slope engineering problem, study of slope stability is paying more and more attention.The submerged area of a hydropower station reservoir covers a wide range of southwest provinces which has complicated topography conditions. Slopes of the local reservoir are high and steep, and variety of quaternary overburden, which also has complex causes, widely distributed, thickness changes great and the effect of geological structure is obvious. Therefore, grasps the slopes’stability condition within the scope of the project is of great significance to protect the residents’ life and property and ensure the construction safety. Papers take the typical slope in the new constructing district as an example,whose old county flooded by the reservoir, Using ANSY to establish the three-dimensional model of the slope, importing the model into the FLAC3D to complete numerical simulation by the interface program, and combining with the field monitoring data to make comprehensive evaluation of the slope stability. The main contents of the thesis are as follows:① The paper states the main failure mode of slope in the new county area through analyzing research status of the slope stability at home and abroad, combine with the natural geographical conditions and engineering geological conditions, and use the Grey relational analysis method to research the main influence factors of the slope stability, It comes to a conclusion that morphology parameters and mechanical parameters of rock are the main influence factors of slope stability.② Contrast the advantages and disadvantages of the two softwares for analyzing slope stability, establish 3D model of the slope with the help of ANSYS pretreatment module,which has powerful entity modeling and meshing function, then using FLAC3D to complete the calculation, which has powerful functions in solving the problem of large deformation and complex material mechanics in geotechnical engineering. Select the slope(H26) of the new county seat as the research object, simulating the slope stability under the condition of gravity stress and the influence of the excavation. It is concluded that the anti-slide pile supporting is the optimal scheme through comparing different support scheme.③ We get the informations about the actual deformation trend of the slope, the accumulated deformation, the direction of the deformation where happens and supporting effect of the anti-slide pile by analyzing the slope safety monitoring data, it verifies the rationality and reliability of the anti-slide pile supporting scheme.Use ANSYS to build model and perform calculation by FLAC3D for side stability analysis is made use of the advantages of both, and also achieved good results; Slope safety monitoring results show that numerical simulation can accurately reflect the slope geotechnical parameters of strength parameters and stress distribution.
