With the rapid rise of the comprehensive coverage of the national road network and the Internet electricity supplier, China’s highway LTL logistics industry has been booming, the terminal business department as an important part of the road LTL logistics, undertakes the important connection LTL customers and logistics hub for the responsibility and reasonable position terminal business department can not only reduce enterprise transportation costs, but also improve customer service satisfaction, increase the amount of LTL freight. Highway LTL logistics enterprises according to their operational characteristics, choose the best business department site, has become a key part of the increase in corporate profits.This article first research facility location problem, analyzed and summarized 22 Facility Location, location model and analyze results of these methods practical application limitations. Secondly study the highway LTL logistics business model, including its transport characteristics and forms of transportation; analyzes the differences among road, rail LTL logistics and courier logistics; and combined highway LTL logistics terminal business department’s own characteristics, proposed the use of geographic information Locating systems and mathematical programming method combining solve road LTL logistics business department terminal location problem. Then study the various factors affecting road LTL logistics business department as well as the location of the site selection process. On this basis, the model focuses on the location of the road LTL logistics business department based on geographic information systems and a combination of mathematical programming, which includes building a geospatial database, create thematic maps, conduct neighborhood analysis, overlay analysis and network analysis to spatial analysis, based on the area to find the site to meet the requirements to determine the candidate point, and finally to the total cost of the minimum goal, 0-1 to establish a nonlinear integer programming model. Taking the road LTL logistics companies- Shanghai logistics company DP Sales siting studies, the establishment of a sales office location model based on geographic information system, so that the lowest total cost of the construction site, and get the optimal siting plan.The successful application of location model, not only to prove the feasibility of geographic information systems and mathematical programming model combines location, solve their own siting limitations of traditional methods of qualitative and quantitative methods site, while effectively combines the impact of election addressing various factors, with the actual distance point-to-point instead of the Euclidean distance between the model results to make more accurate, but also its unique visualization capabilities in solving practical problems in location, outstanding performance.
