Proteomics data analysis is indeed a very complex and multistep process, cloud computing technology organizes the growing data and service in cloud center for scientific workflow, facilitating collaborative research; big data technology promotes scientific discoveries in proteomics data analysis through handling provenance data effectively. With the rapid development of mobile technology and ubiquitous computing, proteomics science researchers extricate themselves from the restriction of lab environment and perform scientific research in the wild or on the move. However, researchers have to face the dynamic changes of complex mobile environment while using mobile device to participate in analysis process in real time:In a specific collaborative environments, how to authorize a user the appropriate permissions, and what can we do to enable research work carry out smoothly in disconnected settings.Although some studies have been done for access control in the mobile environment. Current research is mainly focused on the use of typical mobile features, such as time and place, and proposed access control models can only be used in a stable network, which cannot meet the security requirements of scientific workflow system. Around these problems, we do some research work in the following:After analyzing the features of proteomics data analysis process, we develop a mobile client for CoPExplorer based on cloud center providing data analysis services and advantages of replication technology for collaborative work in the mobile environment. The mobile client helps researchers perform tasks anywhere and lays the foundation for an in-depth research of access control in mobile environment. On the basis of CA-RBAC model, contextual information of collaborative scientific analysis process, mobile environments instability and uncertainty have been taken into consideration and we propose a Mobi-CoSWAC access control model and integrate it into existing workflow system. First, redefine the rules and constraints for the mobile environment, ensuring proper use of permissions. Second, enable administrator configure automated role evolution policy, partially based on the forecasted result from workflow history. Third, we forecast a virtual role in disconnected settings, which allows continuous collaboration in mobile environment. At last, we design and implement the above algorithms and analyze the complexity of the algorithm based on corresponding performance testing.Based on the above work, we implement a secure access mechanism to support the collaborative scientific workflow system in a mobile environment. As a subsystem, it has been applied to CoPExplorer which belongs to one 863 Program. Through the trial, the mobile client CoPMobile greatly improved collaboration and mobility of data analysis process with the Mobi-CoSWAC access model further ensuring the system security.
