As a kind of specific geologic hazard, the granular mixtures slope is widely distributed in the western cold China and high altitude, drought, severe physical weathering areas. Especially the granular mixtures slope developed on either side of the road is a big hidden trouble to road safety. While the gravel and debris formed from the granular mixtures slope are important source of debris flow. So the study of this kind of slope geological disaster, discusses its formation mechanism and controlling factors of stability is very important.But research on the granular mixtures slope is still in its infancy, Related research content just about this kind of disaster self-organizing properties and stability of the influencing factors, And to the specific the granular mixtures slope is still little research.The wadi granular mixtures slope as the research object, On the base of referring to the articles about granular mixtures home&abroad and collecting the information in the job site, and Combining with the engineering geological condition, hydrogeological condition in the study area, using physical simulation and theory analysis, the main conclusion and research results are as follows:(1) Detailed set forth the Engineering Geology features of the wadi granular mixtures slope, and thus generalizes its geologic conceptual mode.(2) On the basis of field investigation, Describes and summarizes the material structure characteristics, the surface morphology and accumulation characteristics of the wadi granular mixtures slope; Determine the granular mixtures slope for medium-strong sliding sand slope in the activity according to the classification of sliding sand slope characteristics; At the same time the slope’s configuration is divided into several parts on the basis of survey analysis, Find out the movement, the accumulation characteristics of the wadi granular mixtures slope.(3) In order to understand the surface and internal accumulation characteristics of the wadi granular mixtures slope, Done a large number of indoor soil test including grain size analysis, heavy, void ratio, shear strength and so on. (4) Through indoor small accumulation process test and small rainfall simulation experiment of the granular mixtures slope, reproduce the surface changes, the surface particle separation and the periodic interbedding phenomena of internal granules-landslides, Verify the granular mixtures slope is a granular mixtures slope and secondary debris flow complex geological disasters mainly formed under the influence of gravity and the seasonal rains.(5) Finally, discussed the stability of the slope control condition based on three aspects about itself structure characteristics, forming conditions and formation mechanism of the wadi granular mixtures slope.
