The Guangdong Dabaoshan molybdenum polymetallic deposit is a typical polymetallic sulfide deposit in Nanling region. In recent years, with the development of project of national crisis mine replacement resources, our coutry and mine departments gradually increased investment for deep and periphery prospecting and achived great research results. On the basis of previous research, we found there were still some omission that the previous has not ascertained the space relation between main ore-controlling structral characteristics and wall-rock alteration and mineralization and ore body in mining area. Therefore, this paper chose "Survey of tectonic-altereation Dabaoshan Copper-Molybdenum Polymetallic Deposit, Guangdong province,and Ore-Prospecting" as the title to supple the previous research and provide important reference for the late research and production.On the basis of two measured structure-alteration-lithology profiles a total length of about1.6km in the mining area, systematic studies are made on the lithology and petrology, to establish altered mineral assemblages. On the account of this, a map of3km2"structural altered rock mapping of the Dabaoshan deposit" was compiled. Combined with the tectonic evolution and magmatic activity, the deep and periphery ore-prospecting prediction in Dabaoshan deposit were further discussed. The main conclusions in the thesis are as follows:1、Starting with ore-controlling structure, by detailed observing structural characteristics, we thought that ore-host faults of Dabaoshan stratiform-like copper polymetallic sulfide deposit were mainly NNW. From structural evolution characteristic, the control to the mineralization by the type and properties of ore-controlling structure and their combination and all kinds of ore-controlling structure characteristics were studied.2、on the basis of limestone (argillaceous limestone, argillaceous siltstoue), granitic magma in Yanshan stage, NNW fault crushed zone in Dabaoshan molybdenum polymetallic deposit, along with alteration zone, the advantageous elements for skarn copper polymetallic sulfide deposit were explained.3、By means of the actual measurement on two typical geological sections in the mining area, and petrological, mineralogical research on different types of altered rocks in the sections, the mineralized alteration zone developed in the north and south stopes in the mining area were determined in mineral composition and rock structure. The field division symbolizings of different types of alteration zones were systematically put forward, including color, texture, structure, occurrence and mineral assemblages of each type of altered rock. A large scale facies map of1:5000about structural altered rocks in Dabaoshan Mine was confiled.4. An alteration zoning model was set up, which centers on mineralization, and outwards,"tremolite-actinolite skarn zone-'diopside skarn zone'weak skarn zone'silicon and marble zone " for mining exploration symbolizing.5. The Baimianshan area is preferred as the important mine exploration prospecting area of Dabaoshan mine field. A large scale of1:5000structure-alteration-mineralization facies mapping was completed in the area. During the mapping, the ore-prospecting criteria of Baimianshan prospecting prediction area was set up, and it was confirmed that a middle-low temperature skarn type of Pb, Zn and Ag polymetallic deposit may exist in the deep earth in the Rongshu area.
