With the wide application of gravity, magnetic geophysical exploration methodin deep geological tectonics and regional geology, crustal geothermal change, solidmineral exploration, engineering and environment fields, methods of processing andinterpretation of geophysical data has also made great progress. Gravity and magneticdata interpretation is an important link of gravity and magnetic exploration. In fact, ifstill using the methods of theoretical hypothesis directly to the measured anomalyinterpretation, will lead to inaccurate results, so the need for processing andconversion necessary for the observed anomaly. Potential field conversion is one ofthe common processing method. The main function of it can be complicated to simple,the observed abnormal decomposition, prominent anomalies of useful information, tosuppress the interference, which can be more convenient to use and reliableinformation, provide more means for gravity and magnetic data interpretation,improve the effect of interpretation.In this paper, the direct solution of Laplace equation, numerical integral methodand the integral interpolation method of these three kinds of potential field conversionmethod, to carry out field space conversion. Through model tests and to comparethese three methods of potential field conversion treatment effect, comparison of thethree methods.This paper designed three sets of models, including three cube model, the samefive cube model, five different cube model, three kinds of methods and the use of theresearch on the designed model, on the continuation and continuation calculation. Theresults, obtained the continuation, direct solution of the Laplace equation and thenumerical integral method, the effect is very good, the integral interpolation methodhas the worst effect; in the next extension, direct solution of the Laplace equation,numerical integral method secondly, integral interpolation method is the worst.In practical applications, the gravity measurement data in a certain area of Sichuan as potential field conversion processing, and interpretation of geophysicaldata interpretation and geological data coincide, received a good effect. Using thedirect solution of Laplace equation, numerical integral method and the integralinterpolation method to the gravity data continuation of treatment, and then threemethods of extension results are compared and analyzed, and makes the same andtheoretical research and model test results.
