On the basis of the theories of sedimentary facies and petroleum geology, by meansof geological investigations in the field and research indoors, combined with the data ofgeological background, lithological association, sedimentary structure, construction,geochemistry, oil&gas testing and chemical analysis of organic compound, researchedChang4+5and Chang6oil beds rules of sedimentary subfacies, rules of distribution ofstratum and sandstone. This paper systematically definites borderline between substratumsand detailedly describe the characteristics of lithology and log displays of all substratums.Sedimentary facies of Chang4+5and Chang6oil beds belong to delta plain of braidedriver sediment in term of analytic result of plane configuration of sandstone,characteristics of lithology and log displays of all substratums, rate between sand and mud,the types of construction, sedimentary facies sequence of single well and granularityanalysis. The delta plain can be divided into distributary channel, natural levee, splay,plain swamp and flood plain microfacies. Distributary channel is dominantly developingmicrofacies. Six favorable areas are predicted by geological factors of oilfield such assedimentary facies, data of porosity and permeability, production test data, etc..
