Xinyao area is located in the eastern shanbei slope of Ordos Basin. The area of Chang6reservoir is an important oil and gas producing layer with further expand the scale of oil and gas exploration and development, the important oil and gas producing reservoirs more clearly understand the characteristics is very important. Through drilling section, core observation with physical data, logging data analysis and analysis of test data, based on the system of division and correlation of sedimentary facies and sand body distribution, systematic research on reservoir characteristics, do well reservoir evaluation.Based on the above researching, this paper has been gained research results and new knowledge:1. Studies of Chang6oil-bearing formation and development is mainly the delta plain, delta front facies, including delta plain distributary channel, interdistributary bay, natural levee and delta front subaqueous distributary channel, subaqueous natural levee and underwater distributary bay6sedimentary microfacies, including research,61Chang62reservoir is distributary channel (underwater distributary channel).2. The Chang6reservoir sandbody belong to compound rhythm type;62have the maximum sand ratio;62permeability heterogeneity is strong.3. XinYao area Chang6reservoir is low porosity, ultra low permeability reservoir. Strong compaction, pressure solution, the compressive strength of high content of lower fragments and feldspar content in the sandstone and sandstone of variable density, is the major factor of reservoir porosity, permeability decreases sharply, but the influence of authigenic mineral filling and late diagenetic dissolution on reservoir physical properties are also great.
