State Grid Corporation of China propose to achieve "digital power network,informationalized technology company," to build "unified and national smart grid".Recently the development of spatial information service platform of the Grid GISbecome a major construction project for China’s energy sector, when it is completed,it will greatly improve the efficiency, managerial and service level of China’s powersector. The construction of Grid GIS database is the foundation and core part of theproject. For large data storage: basic geospatial data, spatial grid resources data,attribute data, how to ensure the accuracy and precision of data collected and how tomanage the data after the completion of collecting are extraordinary significant.China’s power grid resource data collecting work has just only begun in recent years,how to complete the Grid GIS construction tasks well, Provinces continues to explorethe better methods for data collection and the batter management method.This article describes application of the mapping technology in the collection ofbasic grid data,at last choose the optimum measurement program by comparing andanalyzing the different measurement methods for different electrical equipment, sothat to ensure the quality of the data. On data processing and management this articleuse C++language, C#language to develop program, it can achieve the task thatimporting data automatic, coordinating the geodetic coordinates to Cartesiancoordinate conversion, calculating the coordinate of the center point, outputting theresult. In this way it can reduce the workload of workers, avoid human error andimprove the efficiency of the whole work. Practical application shows that comparedwith the similar software, The advantage is apparently by comparing with similarsoftware, meanwhile the practical application shows it has a better value by using andpopularizing.
