The Guoqi Fentoushan Area Reservoir Evaluation

Fentoushan area is located in the Guoqi region, northwest of qilicun oil ifeld. Thesedimentary facies is delta rfont and characteirzed by underwater distributary channel and thedistirbutary bay micro-facies. The ifeld has poor reservoir porosity and permeability, and theaverage net thickness of oil layer in this area is16m.The oil and gas development in this fieldbegan in1999’ and the practical development of more than20years has shown that the fieldhas poor reservoir continuity，strong heterogeneity and uncertain residual oil distirbution，soreservoir evaluation of this ifeld is urgenly needed.Reservoir evaluation is a hot research areain the current oilfield development, which is crucial to lengthen lifespan of the oilfield and isan important path to the sustainable development of oilfield.Based on the study of low permeability reservoir in Chang6member of Yanchangformation in the Fentoushan area, this paper study the geological characteirstics, thedevelopment of dynamic analysis，reservoir engineeirng design, and adjustment ofdevelopment plan. Also, we make ifne descirption of erservoirs, aiming at fully understandthe reservoir seepage law of the low permeability reservoir of Chang6member. Meanwhile,studies are also made to enhance oil recovery and improve the effect of development in thisarea. On the basis of these studies, the authors propose the development scheme, which is themost suitable for the characteirstics of reservoirs in Fentoushan area and will be beneficial toimprove the effect of reservoir development and birngs economic beneifts. It provides aneffective technical approach for the improvement of recovery eiffciency, which is useful forlongtime-sustainable development in this Qilicun oilfield and the research results are alsouseful to the development of similar reservoirs in other areas of China.
