Over the distinguish and quantitative evaluation difficulties of thin interbed layers, basedon geologic origin and lithological discrimination, this paper carries out thin interbed layersreformation research, lithological discrimination and reservoir delineation research anddistinguish and quantitative evaluation research of thin interbed layers to achieve the objectiveidentification and evaluation of oil and gas applying various techniques and materials, such asmagnetic resonance imaging logging.First, method of inversion is used to develop thin layer correction; Secondly, on the basisof the first datum, including core experimental analysis, geologic control and testing, calibrating the conventional log datum and effectively identifying reservoirs and dividing intoeffective thickness according to the high resolution technical advantages of drilling coring andimaging logging datum; Thirdly, establish the reservoir classification criteria and study theeffective reservoir logging evaluation method for Ao xian nan po sha si duan reservoir inDongying based on a large number of analysis datum, applying comprehensively of loggingdatum and studying the log response characteristics of the different lithology and thickness. After two years study, some innovation points of thin interbed layers of nan po sha siduan in Dongying has been obtained on well logging and geologic evaluation as follows:1) On the basis of logging method principle, studying logging datum calibration methodof thin interbed, the correction chart for surrounding rock and layer thickness is established, which eliminates the influence of borehole, the surrounding rock and the layer thickness onlogging curve, improve the thin interbed information quality. This paper discusses theapplication of high resolution logging data calibration and constrained low resolution loggingdata calibration methods and improves the along track resolution of the low resolution loggingdatum.2) Forming the reservoir recognition method for core calibration image and imaging scaleconventional log datum. Imaging logging datum play a big role in calibration conventional logging datum, the identification of lithology and combination and dividing the effectivethickness. Integrallty applying Corresponding relations of core data, imaging logging data andconventional log data, the reservoir recognition methods have been formed for core calibrationimage and imaging scale conventional log datum.3) There is some breakthrough on the corresponding mechanism of thin interbed in themicroelectrode logging data. Compared with other conventional logging curves, the resolutionof micronormal curve is higher to10cm. Generally when micronormal curve is positiveseparation, the dry reservoir does not have the deliverability capacity. This paper shows thatthe reservoir still has a certain capacity especially in the high pressure and low permeabilityformation although the microelectrode sometimes is negative. It is not a final indicating curvefor dry layer, but can better identify reservoir.4) According to study the effective reservoir low limit, lithology low limit, physicalproperty low limit and thickness low limit are redefined.141Wells and Gao899Well withlow porosity and low permeability which most is thin interbed break the oil and gasexploration in the area on the plane and vertical zone. The micro understanding breakthrougheffectively guides the related oil and gas exploration areas in this region.5) Study the interpretation model of the thin interbed reservoir parameters. Theinterpretation model successfully explain reservoir parameters of the more than200exploration wells and development wells, including the Gao89well block, Fan159well block,Liang76well block and Fan1well block.
