The Risk Management Research Of Yingkou Wanghai Pearl Bay Exhibition Center’s Reclamation Project

In recent years, with the rapid development of economy, the shortage of land resources is more and more serious in China. In face of this situation, some coastal areas of China put forward the reclamation plan as the method of the bay areas" urbanization, the coastal areas’ expanding the space and the development and utilization of the ocean.This paper taking Yingkou Wanghai Pearl Bay Exhibition Center’s reclamation project as the research object, this paper aims at analyzing and measuring for the risk of project, and then put forward some risk prevention measures. This paper combines the declarative method analysis and empirical analysis. First of all, the thesis summarized the common concept and the related theory of the risk, then analysis the present situation and the existing problems of the Yingkou Wanghai Exhibition Center Pearl Bay’s reclamation project engineering.Second, uses the SWOT method to analyse the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of the project; Third, to carry on the empirical analysis of analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation for the project risk.And come to this conclusion that the risk of the project is in the general level of risk, And the inflation risk, interest rate risk, the risk of cost overruns, schedule delay risk, environmental risk and force majeure risk weighting, should be pay more attention.This paper identified the the main risk factors of Yingkou Wanghai Pearl Bay Exhibition Center’s reclamation project, and evaluated the importance of each risk factor by calculation, and find out the risk factors which should be pay more attention and proposed the corresponding risk prevention measures. The conclusion of this paper provide project managers the basis to understand the main risk factors exist in the process of project and take measuses timely and reasonablely reduce the incidence of the project risk and losses, to ensure the smooth implementation of the project.This paper mainly summarizes and expounds the theory of the risk management framework, but lack of a more intensive analysis, especially for the theoretical framework of internal structure as well as the relationship between them.
