Now Awulale iron copper mineralization in western Tianshan Mountains was determined as one of the replacing base of national ten big important metallic mineral resources. Shikebutai iron deposit in west of the Awulale metallogenic belt in western Tianshan Mountains, metallogenic conditions are relatively good, the genetic type of very typical, the Awulale metallogenic belt is very representative of the significance iron ore deposit.Based on the Shikebutai iron deposit as the research goal of analysis, with the mineral deposit geology, structural geology, petrology and geochemistry, mineralogy, isotope chronology as the theoretical basis, by summarizing the characteristics of ore deposit geology, geochemical, geophysical and geochemical aspects of the systematic study on the Shikebutai iron deposit, for the analysis of metallogenic conditions, metallogenic mode is established,summarize the prospecting criteria,the final determination of the genesis of the deposit.Research shows that the metallogenic regularity: LA-ICPMS zircon U-Pb dating results show that in the study area the volcano rock at the age of 301 to 313 Ma this range, it can explain it in the early Late Carboniferous volcanic output of shikebutai iron deposit.
