Three-dimensional geological modeling is using the computer technology, together with the spatial information management, geological interpretation, spatial analysis and forecast, statistical and graphical visualization tools, through the geological spatial structure analysis, to establish a model for data display, edit, calculation and output. In this paper, the first attempt of direct use digital geological mapping data to build Tuoshang amplitude shallow(500m) three-dimensional geological model on the basis of digital geological mapping for example with a case study in Tuoshang, Jiangxi province by 1∶50000.Digital geological mapping modeling is based on three-dimensional geological modeling professional software, using the field route data(P-geological point; R-section route; B-point boundary) and the corresponding field occurrence data; drilling; geological maps and the other data acpuired from digital geological mapping for a technical method of three-dimensional geological modeling. This article through to analysis the geological structure features of Tuoshang amplitude, using the field route PRB data and the corresponding field occurrence data for the main modeling data, surface topography data and drilling data as auxiliary data to research technical methods on digital geological mapping modeling, and construction of the Tuoshang three-dimensional geological model(shallow). This model can provide constraints for deep 3D geological modeling, and provide information for the deep ore prospecting.In this paper, the specific work and results are as follows:(1) according to the related geological data have been collected on Tuoshang regional geological survey, combined with the Tuoshang geological strucrure characteristics and the basic structure of GOCAD software geological database, with the multi-source data and geological maps for vector and storage process, based on the collation and analysis for the datas to create the basic database, realize the vectorization and 3D visualization of multi-source data.(2) on the basis of digital geological mapping modeling database, combination of the Tuoshang actual geological condition and the theory of the digital geological mapping modeling, summarize the process and technical method of building 3D geological model based on data of digital geological mapping.(3) GOCAD software provides a variety of construction method, geological interface through a variety of construction methods are contrasted, aiming at building the geological interface to select the construction method and its corresponding sums up the methods and skills on different geological construction interface.(4) after build the three-dimensional geological model of Tuoshang amplitude, summarized methods and techniques of model finishing.(5) through established Tuoshang shallow three-dimensional geological model, this article master the process and technical method to construct the model by using the digital geological mapping data, provide constraints for deeper 3D geological modeling.
