With the increasing consumption of mineral resources, the energy crisis is becoming a major factor restricting the development of society, in order to solve this problem, in a district of Jiangxi Province to carry out the work of magnetotelluric sounding MT, to provide guidance on the theory and methods for prospecting in deep effect.Due to the complexity of the situation with mountain terrain area, making seismic methods can not start work at the local, Earth electromagnetic measuring deep method its itself has many features, including simple equipment, easy to operate, money-saving in field work, high efficiency and flexible device layout, Probing depth and so on, in addition it also has a high resistance to penetrate the shield of impact, so MT method can be effectively applied for deep geological structure investigation in Xiang Shan area.We must first calibrated more than one instrument working simultaneously in the region and the magnet instruments before working with MT and determined that performance and stability of the instrument meets the requirements by calibration curve’s performance.conformance testing on work area with multiple instruments simultaneously is indispensable. Measuring simultaneously at the same measuring point for multiple instruments and analysis through the curve measured help to obtain the need for consistency of the instruments meet the job requirements.Valid collection time and the device coefficient can be determined by test at same time, which give us a detail introduction on the survey point layout and considerations.Meanwhile, due to the limitation of working conditions, the work deal with the data that encountered more serious pollution by adopting a mutual reference to road test in the data processing time we got the best cross reference track results through testing,when we deal with contaminated data, and usually adopted magnetic reference channel for dealing with the data of poor quality in this data processing, Also try to use thresholding and morphological filtering method removed the magnetotelluric data in square wave, triangle wave, pulse and other interference data and reconstructed signal,which achieved very good results.By measuring line of the zone through different contrast inversion mode, draw two-dimensional TM inversion mode applications can get the best effect in the area, and discussed the impact of selecting different parameters on the inversion process to obtain the best the parameters for the area, and finally analyzed by two 2D inversion diagram of the zone, well delineated inversion results and geological structures deep fault zone, research results for the deep area and similar regions to find mining and detection to provide technical support.Finally offers some suggestions, when working conditions help us build the extended reference point, this method can be used on contaminated with large data processing and give explanation with the combination gravity, magnetic, and drilling and other related information.
