The Shuangqiaozi district is located about 50 km southeast of Muling City, Heilongjiang Province, north part of Taipingling Au, Cu polymetallic metallogenic belt. The tectonic position is located in the connecting part between Taipingling uplift and Laoheishan fault depression, northern end of Jinchang-Suiyang fault zone. The outcroppign strata in research area is mainly composed of Upper Proterozoic Huangsong Group Yanwangdian Formation, Paleozoic Lower Permian Piangyangzhen Fromation and Shuangqiaozi Formation, Mosozoic Upper Triassic Luoquanzhan Formation, Lower Jurassic Suifenhe Formation and Cenozoic Chuandishan Formation. The intrusive rock include Yannian granite, granodiorite and monzonitic granite, and have important control to ore-forming of Au, Cu polymetallic deposit in the district. There are many Au polymetallic deposis, and mineral occurrence in the area, including Jinchang gold deposit, Bahaodong brecciated rock type deposit, Banjiegou, Songlulazi gold deposit, Xiwaizi Au-Ag mineral occurrence, Kongquetai Au-Zn mineral occurrence, Lujiaoling gold mineral occurrence and Yagnhuidongzi Cu deposit. It provides favourable term to formation of Au, Cu polymetallic deposit in the area, because of special strata, tectonic environment and related magmatic activity in the area.Lujiaoling gold deposit and Yanghuidongzi Cu, Mo polymetallic deposit are mainly deposits developed in the district. The paper adopt Lujiaoling gold deposit as typical deposit, which is located in southeast of research area, as well as No. Hs-4 anomaly from measurement of 1:50000 stream sediment. The outcropping strata in the mining area are Upper Proterozoic Huangsong Group Yanwangdian Formation(Pt3yn) and Upper Triassic Luoquanzhan Formation(T3l). The intrusive rock is Late Triassic – Early Jurassic granodiorite(T3J1γδ), Early Cretaceous mozonitic granite(K1ηγ), as well as fine grain diorite vein and quartz vein developed in the late period. The tectonic is mainly on NE-trending, with minor NW-trending fault. There are 4 mineralized and alterated shuttered zone I-IV outlined in the mining area. There are 2 gold industrial orebodies, 1 Pb-Zn industrial orebody, 6 gold non-industrial orebodies, 1 Pb-Zn-Ag non-industrial orebodies, 12 gold mineralized oreboies and 1 Pb-Zn mineralized orebodies. The genesis type for Lujiaoling gold deposit is belong to metamorphic – hydrothermal gold deposit.According to measuring results from regional 1:50000 stream sediment, and contrast of metallogenic characteristics between Lujiaoling gold deposit and Yanghuidongzi Cu, Mo polymetallic deposit, we delineated 2 sites of metallogenic prediction area. The metallogenic geological condition is similar, and also is a favourable district for prospecting polymetallic deosit from meatallogenic geological characteristics analogy between prospecting area and adjacent Lujiaoling gold deposit.We evaluated prospecting potential for the prediction area on the basis of ore-forming geological setting, anomaly characteristics of secondary halo, anomaly characterisitic of high magnetic. We considered that the outcropping strata in the Au polymetallic ore-forming prediction area, Shuangqiaozi district is mainly are Upper Proterozoic Huangsong Group Yanwangdian Formation, which is the mian ore-bearing strata in the mining area and controlled by fault. The intrusion of Late Permian granodiorite provide heat source for mineralizing and alteration, and formed a silicification, pyritization and argilization zone, and discovered many sites of soil anomaly and geophysical anomaly within Yanwangdian Formation.The results of geological condition and prospecting indicator for research area and Lujiaoling gold deposit indicate two districts are located within anomaly of 1:50000 stream sediment with similar strata, tectonic, intrusive rock condition and anomaly of geophysical and geochemical prospecting. As a result, the research area has better prospecting potential further, and favorale prospect to discover gold and polymetallic deposit, it is a hopeful place to discover metamorphic and hydrothermal gold deposit.
