The Identification Of Low Resistivity Reservoirs And The Fluids Rate Forecast To Chang2 In Dingbian Oilfield

With a comprehensive knowledge of oil exploration and the development of our exploring technology,more and more reservoirs with low resistivity have been found in our YanChang oil field. We can find them in all kinds of reservoirs which including Yan6, Yan8, Yan10,Chang2,Chang4+5 and Chang6.But with our additional exploration in the Ordos basin, the geologic characteristic became more and more complicated. Now, the dual induction laterolog 8,which was the most method we used to realize the oil layer can not meet our need to explore the bad ground, sometimes we misinterpret the low resistivity reservoirs to water layer. We have no effective criterion to recognize them, which blocked the development of the oil exploration.In view of the difficult recognition to the reservoirs with low resistivity, this paper take the Chang2 reservoirs in Dingbian oil field of YanChang as an example, research the reservoirs with low resistivity systematically, find the origin of the reservoirs, the affecting factor macroscopically and microscopically, make sure the formation mechanism, generalize the feature of the low resistivity reservoirs, in the end this paper got an available way of well log interpretation to recognize the reservoirs with low resistivity, then we will raise the coincidence rate of the well log interpretation and the accuracy of it which will help us find more and more reservoirs with low resistivity.This paper took fluids rate forecast to the Chang2 oil layer with low resistivity in this region of interest, and we verified the forecast with sixteen wells in this field.
