The thesis with "The Research and demonstration of thermal infrared hyperspectral mineralization and alteration mineral extraction" project, carried out research and application of alteration mineral extraction method based on TASI data,then take the thorough analysis the thermal infrared spectral characteristics of minerals, on the basis of analysis, carried out the endmember extraction and spectrum matching test research.Ultimately,use the PPI endmember extraction and SDEM for extraction of alteration mineral information and mineral mapping with the thermal infrared hyperspectral(TASI) data in Gansu Liuyuan.Based on the research of the regional geological and metallogenic background of Gansu Liuyuan and field verification, delineat the metallogenic prospect areas, which provides a certain basis for the further prospecting work,so it has certain practical significance. The thesis research achievements are as follows:(1)Study on Jin Gou Zi area as an example of alteration mineral information extraction method: test endmember extraction method,including geometric vertex endmember extraction,PPI endmember extraction and SMACC endmember extraction method. Experiments prove that PPI endmember extraction method is better than the other two endmember extraction methods; explore the three spectrum matching methods, including SAM,SID and SDEM,and the experiments prove SDEM is superior to the other two spectral matching methods.(2) Extract alteration mineral information from the study area of Gansu Liu yuan by using the PPI endmember extraction and SDEM. Extracted alteration minerals maily include dolomite,sericite,limonite,chlorite,calcite,diopside, serpentine,gypsum,jarosite and so on. The field test results showed its alteration mineral mapping results was basically in accord with the actual field distribution, indicating that TASI data extracted alteration minerals information is feasible.(3) Analysis the alteration mineral distribution of the study area and the regional geological data in the study area to delineate four metallogenic prospect areas.Through comparing Metallogenic prospective areas with the geological and mineral map,the results showed that the extraction of mineral alteration distribution range contains the konwn mineral mines,geophysical anomaly area,geochemical anomaly area and aeromagnetic anomaly area, and the field test results show that the mapping results and field geological conditions are basically the same.It showed that the extracted alteration can provide more accurate and reliable information for ore finding.
