Du Jiaying landslide locates in somewhere about 200 meters north of East Wu Quan Town of Wangcang County, Guang Yuan city. The market and town roads run along the frontier of the landslide, and a tributary of Wu Lang River runs along the east side of the roads. The transformation of the landslide began from the middle of 1970s, and there’s ground fracturing to different degrees every year when the raining season comes, which directly threatens the life and property safety of 43 farmer households,179 individuals concerned, living in the frontier. Furthermore, because the frontier is close to Wu Lang River, as long as there’s eruption of landslide, there would be blocking of the river way, thus indirectly leading threat to the life and property safety of more than 2500 farmer households, whose potential economic loss would reach more than¥50000000. Based on analyzing the mechanism for the transformation of this landslide, its stability and offer applicable treatment complying is researched. The paper mainly contains four parts as followed:(1) Through wild investigation on the spot, grasp the basic features of the landslide. The plain modality of the convex-sloped landslide is like a round-backed armchair. It slows down on the steep from the bottom to the top, the ladder-shaped topographic slope of the middle and back part is about 20°, each scarp is about 1-4m in height, while the topographic slope of the middle and front part is about 20-30°. According to the stimulating factors and transformation model of the landslide’s transformation and collapse, it is defined as rain-triggering retrogressive landslide.(2)Based on the investigation material, raining data, indoor experiment and wild investigation, grasp the composition of the landslide, its slide zone and slide bed, so as to analyze the landslide mechanism of the landslide and obtain the concerned data of each rock-soil mass’physical and mechanical property through physical and mechanical experiments.(3)Based on the formerly mentioned material, adopt engineering-geology investigation and limit equilibrium methods to carry out the qualitative and quantitative analyses on the landslide stability, thus offering two schemes. Scheme 1 is "third level anti-slide pile plus intercepting ditch". Scheme 2 is " second level anti-slide pile plus intercepting ditch plus retaining wall". After comparison and comprehensive analysis, the conclusion is that the second scheme is more economic, safer and more reliable.(4) Counting on Scheme 2, figure out the structures of anti-slide pile, retaining wall and intercepting ditch and its mechanical stability. Through numerical simulation analysis based on PLAXIS2D on the after management project, obtain the stability for the landslide after treatment, so as to fulfill the practical requirement of the project.
