Sulige gas field in Ordos Basin is one of the largest gas field found in China so far, Su 53 block is located in the northwest of Sulige gas field, the regional tectonic belongs to the north of the yishaan slope of the Ordos Basin, It is a large sandstone lithologic trap developed in the upper Paleozoic Clastic Rocks. Hydrocarbon source rocks in Upper Carboniferous Benxi Formation, lower Permian series of Taiyuan Formation and Shanxi Formation coal and mudstone with major reservoir formation in the lower Permian Shihezi Formation in 8 and Shanxi group hill paragraph 1. With the improvement of world resources of natural gas demand and the increase of gas reservoir exploration and development difficulty and technical level, previously only focused in conventional gas reservoir description technology and methods, it is difficult to meet the needs in the future development of gas reservoirs, therefore, We need to be more in-depth and extensive research characteristics of gas reservoir, achieve favorable gas bearing zones optimization. Combining with core logging, geophysical logging, seismic data and gas reservoir, the Sulige gas field in Su 53 block box 8 and Shan 1 section deposition phase, reservoir characteristics, favorable area prediction were comprehensive and in-depth research, has obtained the following understanding:1. Su 53 block is located in the northwest of Sulige gas field, the regional tectonic belongs to the north of the yishan slope of the Ordos basin with, which mainly contains reservoir will box 8 segment is divided into six layers and Shan 1 is divided for three small layers.2. According to the Su 53 block end drilling drilling, logging and core data, the area of the whole period in the water environment, which belongs to fluvial facies, fluvial type braided river and meandering river, we deeply study the sedimentary facies identification, single well facies, profile and plane.3. In the study area, through the study of reservoir sandbody distribution characteristics and logging characteristics and gas detection in many aspects, it show that the sand body distribution is not uniform, mountain 1 ~ 8 boxes under the reservoir heterogeneity strong, comprehensive utilization of electric logging characteristics and a variety of detection methods, can predict favorable gas bearing areas;4. In comprehensive sand body, facies and single well reservoir interpretation etc. on the basis, a total of zoned separate the three types of favorable reservoir: class I region as the preferred area for exploration and development; class II areas due to well point distribution is less, transverse control is poor, mainly for exploration and Development Zone; class III region after a comprehensive judgment predicted data is not ideal, exploration risk is high. According to the standard, of Sulige gas field in North China mountain 1, box 8 reservoir are favorable areas of screening, which favorable exploration area mainly distributed within the range of channel sand body deposited, which for class I and class II region should is a key area for further exploration.
