Yitong Basin is a high degree of exploration fault basin in eastern China. Former researchers did a series of oil and gas accumulation research and three evaluation of oil and gas resources in Yitong Basin. Nowadays, Yitong Basin has entered the medium-term exploration, in recent years the result of the exploration showed that not only the rate of exploring oil and natural gas continue to decrease, but also under geological conditions of low permeability and thin interbedded predominating, the difficulty of exploration has gradually increased. Three oil and gas resource evaluation of Yitong basin by previous is no longer suitable for the current oil production stage. Thus, we need to combine the latest information on exploration and evaluate the resource of oil and natural gas in Yitong Basin again.Luxiang fault depression is located in the middle of Yitong Basin with an area of310 square kilometers, and can be further divided into Wuxing tectonic belt and Danan sunken. Although it is the smallest fault depression of Yitong Basin, the content of oil and gas is high. Therefor, evaluating the the potential quantity of oil and natural gas in this area is vital to determine the amount of oil and gas resources in Luxiang fault depression and provide scientific deployment to the oil production.Firstly, we collect the information previous studies and combine with new drilling,logging data, and collecting samples for the preparation of study. Next, samples will be collected to carry out experiments, the experimental data and data collection finishing made development and distribution evaluation dark mudstone and dark mudstone organic matter type, abundance, maturity evaluation. In the process of quantitative evaluation, according to Tisso thermal degradation late hydrocarbon generation theory and principle of time-temperature complementary to experimentally simulate underground complex hydrocarbon conditions and study kerogen hydrocarbon generation. In the study of “Three History”, the most appropriate approach to the study of the basic situation of Luxiang fault depression is to recover burial history, thermal history and hydrocarbon generation history. Finally, making use of the genetic method calculate the amount of hydrocarbonLuxiang fault depression, and then determine the expulsion coefficient and the clustering coefficient of Luxiang fault depression. Finally, estimate the total amount of oil and natural gas.The results show that: The Shuangyang group mudstone has high content of organic matter, good type, high maturity, Sheling group mudstone followed, and Yongji group is the worst. The analysis of "Three history" shows that the stratum of Luxiang raised at the latest of Yongji group and began at Wanchang group;Geothermal gradient shows that the geothermal gradient of the fault is high in early stage, raised at the latest of Yongji group,and fluctuated between 3~ 4.5℃/100m;The research of the hydrocarbon generation history of using chemical kinetics method indicates Luxiang fault depression with raw oil and gas, the main hydrocarbon generation occurred in 25-10 Ma. Using the genetic method to estimate the oil resources of Deer Township is 124 million tons, natural gas resource is 30.3 billion square.
