The ecological economic zone of Poyang Lake is located in the red loam region of Southern.China.The reticulate red loam is widely distributed in the study area. Study area rainfall duration long and large intensity, frequent rainfall cause the geological disasters such as landslides and collapses. Ecological construction process is seriously affected. Based on the red loam of poyang lake ecological economic zone as the research object. Through the analysis of geological disasters in the study area and related data,get the geological environment condition, characteristics of meteorological hydrological and geological disasters. On the basis of field geological investigation, Theoretical research and experiment, get the engineering mechanics properties of red loam slope. Extreme rainfall cause the destruction mechanism of landslide is discussed in the end.(1).Discusses regional geological tectonic environment in the study area, focusing on the study area rainfall characteristics, landslide characteristics and red loam characteristics.(2).Analyzed the poyang lake ecological economic zone of extreme rainfall time distribution characteristics.(3).Analyzed the poyang lake ecological economic zone of extreme rainfall space distribution characteristics.(4).Correlation analysis of extreme rainfall and time-space distribution characteristics of the landslide. Get the characteristics of soil slope failure under extreme rainfall conditions in the study area.(5).Analyzes the mechanism of red loam landslide under the condition of extreme rainfall. Respectively from the basic conditions of laterite soil landslide and rainfall on landslide mechanism of mechanics, the mechanism of action of pore water pressure and rainfall on the slope surface erosion mechanism of these a few respects for theoretical analysis.
