Kamuste coalfield is coal bearing basin with new discoveries in recent years concealed area, its abundant coal resources makes Aletai area to remove coal shortage area hat, provides energy base for the development of local economy. This paper chose the coal bearing condition is good, a high degree of exploration of Alean mining area as the research focus,through the research on the laws of mining area and the surrounding exploration coal seam occurrence, provides the theory basis for the geological exploration in periphery area and guidance for the future production of mine exploitation.The paper is based on the existing mining area of drilling,geophysicial prospecting,sample tests and comprehensive geological exploration data in Alean,sedimentary characteristics of coal-bearing rock series,the mining structure development regularity,the main working bed coal,poroperm characteristics and minable seam thickness change rule and so on are summarized and analysis system; application of recoverable coal index(Km) and thickness variation coefficient( g) method and combined with CGIS and MAPGIS software to analyze and research on the main coal seam thickness change and stability. The results show that: the overall trend of B1 coal seam thickness by W1 syncline shaft part is gradually thinned to two wings, in the vicinity of eastern mine area of fine 2-7 and 25-8 holes and western of 20-6 hole near formed two thick coal zones; B2 coal seam thickness change trend on the grounds east to west gradually thickening, in the vicinity of eastern mine area of F-3hole and western mine area of 17-10 hole forms two thick coal zones; B3 coal seam thickness change trend on the grounds east to west thickens, in the vicinity of western mine area of 19-3hole and 19-4 hole form a thick coal zones. B1, B2, B3 three layer thickness variation of coal seams have a common law is the southwest corner because of the influence of fault caused by mining coal seam missing area; B2 and B3 coal seam and B1 coal seam in the southeast arebonding layer; the overall trend of the B2 and B3 coal seam thickness is consistent, and both from east to west thickening. Draw three layers of coal seam is relatively stable overall. To find out the main factors affecting the changes of coal thickness for the sedimentary environment and later tectonic.
