Geologic hazard is one kind of natural hazard that does great damage to human beings. Every year, geologic hazard causes enormous economy losses and grievous personal death and injury. With the development of the society, people pay more attention to geologic hazard. People,s consciousness of hazard risk is becoming stronger. All of these impel risk research of geologic hazard. Although the research of geologic hazard in home and abroad started early, the theory and method of research haven,t been mature. It is still in period of exploration. In the run of present situation, it is imperative to do further research on geologic hazard risk.As a natural green barrier of Western Beijing, Mentougou district plays an important part to Beijing. It lies in the mountain area of western Beijing. The topography fluctuates and changes a lot. The district is rich in coal resources. Complicated geological conditions, centralized rainfall conditions and influence of human engineering activities result in frequent outbreak of mining collapse and debris flow hazards which not only threaten livings of citizens but also constraint development of local productivity and programming of city. The paper carried out research on evaluation of hazard risk and system of rescuing and testing, whose research findings have important theoretical value as well as practical significance.Based on the existing research findings and methods in home and abroad, combining social economic conditions, gestating and endangering characteristics of mining collapse and debris flow hazards in the district, the paper created model of hazard risk evaluation and completed the regionalization of hazard risk as well as preliminary research on rescuing and testing. The paper got the following new cognitions and conclusions:(1)Referrring to vast documents and materials, combining predecessor,s work experience and researching findings, the paper built index system of hazard chanciness evaluation and vulnerability evaluation. It ascertained quantification and classification of every index. The paper calculated the index weight with method of AHP. The results are scientific and rational and they can reflect practical situation of hazards.(2)In order to reflect substantive characteristics of researching objects truly, the paper chose homogeneous and natural unit to extract and quantificat kinds of index datas in evaluation of hazard chanciness, vulnerability and risk. The paper carried through attribute overlying analysis using powerful spatial analysis function of MAPGIS, which improved the calculating speed and precision.(3)The paper compartmented hazard risk of the district using the model of hazard risk evaluation and divided the risk level into four degrees. Based on hazard risk and losses, the paper created hazard rescuing and testing system that laid the foundation for hazard prevention and mitigation.
