The development of EDM is fast.Its softness and precision machining feature made it could be used as a good platform in various complex and new materials processing. In addition, the technology of forming EDM providing a new processing method for industrial products, and providing a new experimental design platform for the development of science and technology. Due to the rapidly development of EDM technology, some technology was eliminated for the lower precision control, we can make resources get reasonable used by lower reconstruction expenses.The characteristics of the fuzzy controller was studied, and designed the occasionally control method of one more roads information collection aim at the limited of traditional fuzzy controller; also improved the control precision of fuzzy controller. This paper studied listed as follows.First, an optimizing fuzzy controller of several groups is developed. The forming of EDM process and detection means and characteristics of gap existing state of forming process of electric spark was analysis deeply. Based on the past the spark gap detection method analyzes the analysis of discriminated, puts forward the fuzzy control technology by multi-channel information collection.Second, the road of information collection was developed in several groups. In order to improve the efficiency of collecting information developed an optimizing fuzzy controller basing on frequently-used double-input and single-output fuzzy controller. Four kinds collecting information in two types are used as input in the controller, and the number of pulses is used as output. The gap voltage and the gap current are collected at the same time in two paths. Coupling the two cases at last, and the fuzzy controller signal is outputted.Third, compiled the program of fuzzy control, and made a simulation experiment. Write the software MATLAB environment, realizing program through procedure running from simulation test model control in effect. MATLAB software can be used to dynamic system simulation, modeling and analysis. Can the type have linear system simulation of nonlinear system, continuous systems, and discrete system etc. And for software control system was designed for the hardware characteristics, the realization of the control system to provide the platform. The hardware and software of the system design and commissioning, after commissioning, tested program operation can control servo system movement, visibility. When compared the Fuzzy PID control with the traditional PID control. We can find that the superiority of the fuzzy PID Used the fuzzy control technique is applied in EDM shaping, it solved information collection efficiency isn’t high enough.
