Neutralization process is a typical nonlinear process and this kind of process can't be controlled effectively by conventional linear control method. According to the highly non-linear characteristics of the process of the acid/base neutralization, a linear controller can only perform well with in a small pH range. This article presents an approach comprised of a non-linear gain PID model and a pH and flow feed-forward fuzzy logical model. This approach is applied successfully.Fuzzy control is a control method base on the empirical data and the specialists' experience. Modeling doesn't need for the fuzzy control. It has excellent robustness. Fuzzy control fit the control of nonlinear. It especially fits the control of Neutralization Process. So fuzzy control is employed in the control system as a feed forward control and the method of table query is picked out finally. The method of table query can finish in one step. The method of table query can control easy and fast without learning. The nonlinear gain is fit for the pH static curve to improve the PID control.This paper compare the research of simulation in conventional PID control, PID control with feed-forward and PID control improved by nonlinear gain each other. The improved control is proved to control effectively by these compares.
